The world's only Amazonian Costume Organization
Since 2020, Dodeka Polemistes has been an international costuming organization dedicated to celebrating Greek Mythology through the creation and use of quality costumes that portray the Amazons of Greek Myth.

While we may dress as Themyscira's finest, our real-world mission is to campaign for women's rights through charity, fundraising, and activism supporting the advancement of women's rights across the globe.

Dodeka Polemistes is one part a club for those interested in Ancient Greek history and Mythology in which members engage in living history through costuming based on Amazon warriors.
TO ADVANCE WOMEN'S RIGHTS
In conjunction with living history, Dodeka Polemistes is a club where members can assist social justice campaigns across the globe through fundraising, charity, and volunteering in their community, their nation, and the world at large.
GLOBAL SORORITY
Finally, Dodeka Polemistes is a club which provides community and support to archaeologists, historians, costumers, and cosplayers by establishing a club for women of any sexuality, ethnicity, religion, or place of birth.

Dodeka Polemistes itself on providing "culturally-accurate" representation of the Amazons of Greek Mythology. For most of us, building the costumes probably comes in second to the joy and smiles it brings to many adults and children who have never had a chance to see one of their heroes appear anywhere but in the pages of myth.
NO CHARGE POLICY
Dodeka Polemistes never charges for appearances. We volunteer our time to support worthy causes and spread education about Greek Mythology.
