Wonder Woman of the Week: Reshma Saujani

All right, code monkeys, this week’s post is for you. This week’s Wonder Woman is Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code. Before writing the book on bridging the gender gap in computer science, Reshma was the first woman of Indian descent to run for US Congress. She also worked as the Deputy Public Advocate of New York City after decided her old job wasn’t as exciting as she hoped it would be. Throughout her political career Saujani campaigned for the rights of girls/women, immigrants, and all Americans sidelined by the US political process.
